Logger is a job communication tool for contractors and homeowners. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and how you can control it.
What we collect
When a contractor signs up for Logger we collect their name, business name, email address, and phone number.
When a homeowner accesses a job page via an invite link we collect their email address. If a homeowner chooses to opt in to SMS notifications we also collect their cell phone number and a record of their consent.
We collect job updates, photos, and change orders submitted through the app. We collect standard usage data including IP addresses and browser information.
How we use it
We use contractor information to operate their Logger account and send them job-related notifications.
We use homeowner information solely to deliver job updates from their contractor. We do not use homeowner information for marketing.
SMS messaging
Logger sends SMS job update notifications to homeowners on behalf of contractors. SMS messages are only sent to homeowners who have explicitly opted in by entering their phone number on their job page and confirming via text reply.
Message frequency varies based on job activity. Message and data rates may apply.
To stop receiving SMS messages at any time, reply STOP to any Logger text message. You will receive one confirmation message and no further texts will be sent.

Data sharing
We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We share data only with service providers necessary to operate Logger, including Supabase (database), Twilio (SMS), Resend (email), and Vercel (hosting). Each provider is bound by their own privacy policy.
Data retention
Contractor accounts and job data are retained for the life of the account. Homeowner data associated with a completed job is retained for 2 years. SMS consent records are retained for 5 years.
Your rights
You may request deletion of your data at any time by emailing support@getlogger.app. We will respond within 30 days.
